
Mykola Stetsenko is an Associate at the Kyiv office of Baker & McKenzie with the primary focus on the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, capital markets, as well as specializing in real estate. He advises numerous Ukrainian and international clients in connection with their corporate law matters in Ukraine. Currently, Mykola Stetsenko is heavily involved in advising Ukrainian companies on their IPOs.
Mr. Stetsenko holds a degree with honors in International Law from the Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University since 2000. Mykola Stetsenko spent one year studying at the Georgetown University Law Center (Washington, D.C., USA) as a Muskie fellow under the Edmund S. Muskie Program and received an LL.M. degree with distinction in 2004. His areas of specialization at Georgetown included corporate law and finance. Prior to joining Baker & McKenzie in February 2000, Mr. Stetsenko worked as a junior attorney at several Ukrainian law firms.
Among recent IPO projects for the companies from Ukraine where Mykola was a key lawyer of the Kyiv office team are following IPOs: AIM Admission of XXI Century Investments, listings on the Warsaw Stock Exchange of two major Ukrainian agribusiness players - Astarta and Kernel, as well as most recent one – IPO of KDD Group on Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange.
