Geoffrey Tang is the Senior Manager of Issuer Marketing Division of HKEx, responsible for developing the business of HKEx through attracting new issuers and promoting Hong Kong as an international financial center and the premier capital market. He is also the coordinator of HKEx’s training programs on listing rules compliance and corporate governance for senior executives of companies listed in Hong Kong. He has represented HKEx having participated and was speaker at conferences and events held in Mainland China, Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States and Vietnam.
Prior to joining the Exchange in September 2000, he worked as an analyst and institutional sales executive for securities firms and an international bank. He graduated from the University of California with a Bachelor of Arts degree and obtained his Masters degree from Boston University.
